Experience Haus is a design, technology, and innovation training provider based in Shoreditch, London, UK. They offer courses, talks, and workshops in the creative industry. Additionally, they collaborate with B2B businesses to create events and conferences, and to offer training programs.
Challenge
They needed it to improve its e-commerce website to better showcase its courses, events, and bootcamps while providing a seamless and engaging user experience. The existing website needed a more modern and intuitive design to attract and retain visitors.
The Solution
As a main designer at EH, I applied UX/UI principles to transform the website, making it more user-friendly and visually engaging. Collaborating closely with the development team, I introduced several key enhancements to address these goals.
To improve the homepage's visual appeal, I added the hero feature with an embedded video, creating a dynamic experience that captured users' attention. Additionally, a carousel showcasing upcoming events was implemented, keeping users informed and engaged. I simplified the colour palette, which made the overall design clearer and more cohesive. To aid user navigation, I incorporated tags and detailed course listings, enabling visitors to quickly find relevant offerings. Call-back cards were introduced to facilitate easy contact and follow-up.
Ensuring the entire website was fully responsive was a crucial part of my role, providing an optimal browsing experience across all devices. These changes collectively enhanced the site's usability, visual appeal, and branding consistency.
As the main designer, I was responsible for creating and applying brand guidelines across all visual materials.
